Application of transfer operator methods to hyperbolic systems with low regularity. Linear or fractional response.

The candidate will be expected to work on topics related to the ERC project "Smooth dynamics via Operators, with Singularities". PI: V: Baladi.

The postdoc will benefit from the very stimulating scientific environment of Laboratoire de Probabilités, Statistique et Modélisation in Jussieu, Paris. The PI is Viviane BALADI. The starting date is negotiable. An extension for 12 months is negotiable during the second year.

Eligibility criteria

The successful candidate should have a PhD in mathematics or mathematical physics, expertise in ergodic theory and dynamical systems, and interest in working with functional analytic methods.
