TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 

The Call is open to applicants of either gender on equal terms.

In addition to the general terms and conditions of employment, the applicants must satisfy the conditions set forth in the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119/22).

In addition to their respective applications, the applicants submit: a CV, the relevant diploma, a proof of citizenship. 

The applicants must also submit other supporting documents to prove that they satisfy the terms and conditions of the Call in accordance with Article 10 of the Ordinance on the Appointment into Grades and Positions at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Science, which can be accessed from the official website of the PMF: https://www.pmf.unizg.hr/images/50022658/Pravilnik%20o%20izborima%20u%20zvanja%20i%20na%20radna%20mjesta%20na%20PMF-u%20(procisceni%20tekst)-21-4-22.pdf

The applicants should also enclose with their application: a photocopy of the decision concerning the appointment into the research grade (if any), proofs of the research, teaching and professional work, the reprints of papers and a certificate of registration and citation in relevant databases – Current Contents, ISI Web of Science (SCI – Expanded) and other databases relevant for certain scientific fields (Scopus etc.) and the teaching material available from the higher education institution’s WEB pages in digital format. The applicants must also submit a Declaration of Originality, confirming that all the papers and achievements they refer to are the original results of their work and that they do not contain any sources other than the ones mentioned and acknowledged therein. Furthermore, the applicants should also submit the evidence to prove that they meet the individual general and special terms and conditions according to the Decision on the essential terms and conditions for assessment of the teaching, and the scientific and professional activities within the framework of appointment into the research-teaching grades Narodne novine 122/2017 (OJ No. 122/2017) and its subsequent amendment Narodne novine 120/2021.(OJ No. 120/2021)

The applicants who qualify for employment preference under the special regulations should refer to the preference in their application and provide all evidence as listed in the special regulations governing the priority placement rights, as well as all evidence of eligibility and of the absence of any impediment to their exercising of the priority placement rights as stipulated under the special regulations. Such applicants will be given employment preference within this Call over other candidates, under the same terms and conditions of the Call, based on a duly completed, complete, and timely application, provided they satisfy all the terms and conditions of the Call, and that they achieved top scores in the selection procedure(s).

An application shall be deemed duly completed and complete if it includes all the data and the supporting documents in keeping with the Call requirements. Incomplete, disorganized and late applications shall not be taken into consideration, nor shall the applicants be invited to amend them subsequently.

Foreign nationals should provide a Croatian language certificate.

The PMF collects and processes the personal data of the applicants taking part in the Call for Applications with the aim of verifying the qualifications and eligibility under the Decision on the Collection, Protection and Processing of Personal Data (CLASSIFICATION No.035-01/18-01; FILE No:251-58-10201-18-2).

The closing date for the submission of the applications is 30 days after the publication of the Call in the Official Gazette. 

The results of the Call will be published on the official PMF website: www.pmf.unizg.hr (Competitions).
