Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity funded by FAPESP, linked to the Center for Innovation in Mental Health (CISM), one of FAPESP's Applied Research Centers (ARCs). This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a duration of 48 months. The position involves RNA-Seq analyses in mental disorders, with multi-omics integration.

The selection process will consist of two stages: (1) an initial screening phase, including evaluation of academic transcripts, Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Lattes CV, a statement of interest, and letters of recommendation with contact information; and (2) a second, competitive phase, including an interview with the principal investigators and a practical assessment.

Requirements: PhD in health or biological sciences; experience in human genetic data analysis and bioinformatics applied to transcriptomic data (RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA sequencing – scRNA-Seq and spatial transcriptomics); experience in enrichment analyses and data integration (integration of RNA-Seq and genotyping data); proficiency in statistical analyses using R or Python; experience handling large-scale datasets and scientific publishing. Experience supervising students will be considered an asset. Candidates must have advanced English proficiency and meet FAPESP eligibility (https://fapesp.br/en/postdoc).

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
